Amazon is introducing a new program for Apparel brands called “Manufacturer Central”, which will bring contract manufacturers & global brand owners together to meet requirements.
Select Apparel brand owners are being invited to participate in Amazon’s Pilot program via email invitation.
Benefits of Amazon Manufacturer Central
The Manufacturer Central program gives sellers access to multiple verified and trusted manufacturers across South-East Asia. All manufacturers on the platform are verified, highly rated, and possess all relevant certifications, allowing sellers to search through trusted manufacturers and select one that is best suited to their needs. Amazon apparel sellers can place their required orders for fulfillment directly through the Manufacturer central platform.
The manufacturers verified within Manufacturer central will have the research and development capabilities to create new fabrics and designs, create customized products, and source unique products. With Manufacturer Central, Amazon has done the hard work for sellers, eliminating the need for sellers to travel to factories to review swatches/samples by instead delivering them and maintaining communication between the seller and manufacturer.
