#1 Brand Analytics (SFR, SQPD)
Brand analytics is a wealth of first party information and data. Version 1.0 of brand analytics gave us access to over 1M search terms ranked by search frequency rank (SFR). The number of available terms has increased over time. SFR represents the ‘ranking based on search frequency’. Meaning, the more a term is searched, the lower the SFR. On top of the search term data, Amazon also provides data on clicks and conversion share for the first, second and third results for that particular term.
Example use case: An ASIN can be searched in brand analytics to generate a ‘reverse ASIN report’, or a report that provides unique terms that the particular product ranks in the top 3 for. Click & conversion share can be reviewed to make educated decisions about improving the PDP.
The latest release from Amazon is the search query performance dashboard (SQPD). This dashboard is only available to Brand Registered sellers, and allows brands to see their search term’s performance based on shoppers’ search behavior. The dashboard provides data on how customers move through the sales funnel and the percentage share that you are capturing as a brand. For each search term, Amazon provides its own Rank number and the Search Volume. Check out our post on how to use SQPD here.
