Amazon has launched an exciting promotion offering discounts on future fulfillment fees. Sellers can take advantage of these fulfillment fee discounts by meeting the recommended unit quantities within specified time periods. By participating in this limited-time opportunity, sellers can benefit from accelerated order fulfillment, efficient inventory management, and increased sales conversion rates. In this blog post, we will delve into the details of this promotion and guide you on how to make the most of it…
“Amazon’s offer is on select ASINs in the catalog that can be found on the restock inventory page. For some sellers, it may be available on just a few SKUs out of thousands. Nonetheless, the way to qualify for the fee discount is to send Amazon the minimum number of units to the Fulfillment Centers in the designated month-long goal periods. If those minimums are met the fee discount will be granted. Depending on the amount of eligible ASINs this discount may or may not be substantial, but it’s an easy credit if the inventory is sitting there already”

Amazon Fulfillment Fee Discounts ASIN Eligibility:
To determine which ASINs qualify for the fee discount promotion, sellers can refer to the “Fee discount (new)” column on the Restock Inventory page or the Send to Amazon workflow. Additionally, they can download the Restock Inventory report or use the Fee discount filter to access a comprehensive list of eligible ASINs, available fee discounts, and recommended minimums. It’s important to note that only select ASINs can be enrolled in this promotion, based on factors such as projected demand.

Earning the Discounts:
To qualify for Amazon fulfillment fee discounts, sellers must send the recommended minimum number of units to Amazon’s fulfillment centers during the promotion’s three designated “goal periods.” These periods are as follows: May 15 to June 14, June 15 to July 14, and July 15 to August 14. It’s crucial to ensure that the recommended minimum units are received at the fulfillment center on or before the last day of each goal period. Sellers have the flexibility to ship the inventory in a single shipment or multiple shipments, as long as they meet the minimum requirements.
Optimizing the Process:
To minimize delays and maximize the chances of earning discounts, sellers should consider the following recommendations:
Allow sufficient time for supplier lead times, carrier lead times, and potential receiving delays.
Adhere to Amazon’s packaging, preparation, and shipping requirements to ensure smooth receiving processes. Familiarize yourself with the Packaging and Prep Requirements, Shipping and Routing Requirements, and Small Parcel Delivery guidelines.
When the Discount Takes Effect:
Following the conclusion of each goal period, it will take approximately two to four weeks to determine whether sellers have met the minimum unit requirements and for the discounts to be applied as reductions in fulfillment fees. It’s important to note that the discount will be applied across all eligible ASINs, rather than just those meeting the minimum requirement. Partial or prorated discounts will not be offered if the minimum unit threshold is not met. Additionally, sending inventory exceeding the recommended minimum will not yield higher discounts.
Tracking Your Progress:
Sellers can easily monitor the number of units received at the fulfillment centers by accessing the Restock Inventory report. This report is updated every Monday during the goal period, providing real-time information on unit status. While slight discrepancies may exist compared to other reports due to data refresh rate variations, the Restock Inventory report remains a reliable resource. Within two to four weeks after each goal period, sellers can expect to see their goal status, total units received, and the earned discounts on the Restock Inventory page and report.
